BOOK & PAJAMA DRIVE
As part of our “Families Doing Good Together” Outreach, we are starting a Pajama and Book Drive! This will support the Pajama Program which provides new pajamas and a book to at-risk children in the Phoenix area. These children are in shelters, group homes and temporary housing. Many have been abused and neglected. The Pajama Program believes that the unconditional, magical gifts of new Pajamas and books creates a safe escape at bedtime and sparks their imaginations and creativity. By sharing our gifts, these children can experience the benefit of a loving bedtime, and a peaceful goodnight. Look for a Donation Box in Fellowship Hall and drop off a new pair of pajamas and an age appropriate book. The greatest need is for children ages 8 -18. Donations accepted through March 31st If you have questions, please contact Carey Johnson, carey@nsumc.com |
