Feed My Starving Children Mission Project 2020

JOIN US on Saturday, April 18th, from 11:30am to 1:30pm to pack nutri-tionally complete meals speciacally designed for malnourished children. We will meet at the event

Please let us know, when you sign up if you needto carpool. The location will be the Feed My Starving Children Center, 1345 South Alma School Road,Mesa, where we were last year. Parking is available at the FSMC Center.  This event is organized by Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). Everyone is welcome!

Please note that the minimum age to volunteer at FMSC is 5yrs. old.You must be able to work on your feet for two hours. This is a great event for families!  You can sign up at the NSUMC Mission table after worship.

Feed My Starving Children Mission Project 2019

We plan to carpool from NSUMC. 
Parking: At the FSMC Center – see address above.

WHY?    This event is organized by Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). The goal is to pack nutritionally complete meals  specifically designed for malnourished children.    These    nutritious MannaPack™ meals are specifically designed to assist in reversing and preventing undernutrition.


WHO?    Everyone is welcome! Please note that the minimum age to  volunteer at FMSC is 5 yrs. old. (Please see children/youth  to adult ratios when you sign up.) You must be able to work  on your feet for two hours.  This is a great & fun project for the whole family to participate in.

HOW?    Sign up at the Mission table after worship. We have a  reservation for 25 volunteers, but may be able to  increase if necessary.You can sign up at the same time if you  would like to carpool.

2017 Event Update

Two hours at the Feed My Starving Children event - 218 boxes packed, 47,088 meals, 129 children will be fed for a year = THANK YOU to all who came and packed!!!

2016 Event Update

Two hours at the Feed My Starving Children event - 665 boxes packed, 143,640 meals, 393 children will be fed for a year = THANK YOU to all who came and packed!!!

“Turn Hunger into Hope-Phoenix Mobile Pack” Event

This event  will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at the Phoenix Convention Center.  The NSUMC Mission Committee is asking for volunteers to help at this event.  Everyone is welcome….it’s a great event for families (ages 5 years and up), to do something together while teaching our children the value of volunteering.  The goal is to pack 1 million meals to feed 6,200 kids every day for an entire year and raise $500,000.  Sign up at the Mission Table after Worship. 

 In addition to sharing your time, the Mission Committee will be making a cash donation to FMSC (Feed my Starving Children) the day of the event.  If you are unable to volunteer and can help with a financial donation, you may do so during the Offering any Sunday prior to July 30th.  Please mark your gift FMSC.
