Tyler Christiana is the Director of Congregational Life for North Scottsdale United Methodist Church. Tyler is helping to bridge the gap between where North Scottsdale UMC is and where we believe God is calling us towards by focusing on three key areas:
Tyler was formerly the Pastor of Worship Arts and the Pastor of Youth Ministry at Grace Walk Church in Phoenix. Before that, he served as the Worship Director at First United Methodist Church in Shreveport, LA. Tyler brings a lot into this role at N.S.U.M.C., but the hiring committee was most impressed with his passion for helping others to deepen their relationship with God, as well as his willingness to build programs and ministries that met the needs of local context. Lead Pastor, Christopher Wurpts is thrilled to have him be a part of the North Scottsdale UMC campus in its next chapter of fruitful ministry.
Tyler's wife, Lindsey, is a high school English teacher and they are parents to an adorable little baby girl, born in December of 2022!
