It seems like I am always looking for something. That special necklace, a business card, or an email address. The item is generally in that "safe place." The place I was never going to forget. It's that safe of a place.
During Lent many of us are on a hunt of another kind. A hunt for the true answer, a new beginning or just a hunt for something that's missing. Sometimes what is missing is intangible.
Hunting is a great place to be because that means that we know something is missing. This Easter if you are hunting for the intangible, a new beginning or that true answer, revisit Isaiah 40:31:
"Be those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. The will not run and they will not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. "
I also invite you to visit North Scottsdale UMC. Our church invites all people to enjoy one of three services on Easter Sunday. I hope that one of these one hour worship services can offer you some reprieve from life's hectic schedule. My hope is that by worshiping with us, we can help you find that intangible something that you might have misplaced.

Sunrise Service at 6:00 a.m.
Come in your blue jeans and join us for the first service of Easter morning on the Outdoor Sports Court! There will be music, Holy Communion, coffee and sweets afterward! Come early and wake up with joy in the Son! Childcare will be available.
Worship Service with Communion at 8:30 a.m.
Join us NSUMC the Sanctuary bursts into the colors of spring and both of the choirs fill the Choir Loft with the music and an accompanying trumpets. NSUMC will have activities and crafts for children in the Fellowship Hall during the service. Adults and children are encouraged to stop by the Fellowship Hall after service for coffee and sweets.
Traditional Worship Service & Easter Egg Hunt 10:00 a.m.
Adults may join NSUMC as the Sanctuary bursts into the colors of spring and both of the choirs fill the Choir Loft with the music. Activities and crafts for children will be in the Fellowship Hall during the service. The Easter Egg hunt will occur on the playground. Please stop by the Fellowship Hall after service for coffee and sweets

All children, ages 3-12, are invited to join NSUMC for storytelling, crafts, snacks and an Easter Egg hunt. These activities will take place during the both the 8:30 am and 10:00 am servicse in the fellowship hall.
