Blessing of the Backpacks

​As summer vacation draws to a close, we are excited to welcome everyone back to our church for a special "Back to School" Sunday Service on August 13, 2023, at 10:00 AM. We want this upcoming academic year to begin with the blessings of the Lord, so we invite all students, from the young to the old, to bring their backpacks with them to church on this meaningful Sunday so they can be prayed over by our Pastors.
 

This special service is not just for our younger students; it's for anyone heading back to school! Whether you're in Pre-K, elementary, middle school, high school, or even college, we encourage you to come and be a part of this wonderful event.

We invite all parents, grandparents, teachers, and friends to join us in praying for our students, asking for God's grace, favor, and blessings as they embark on this new chapter of their educational journey. We will also pray a blessing over any/all teachers in attendance, so that they can also start the new academic year with a blessing. 

Let us come together as a church community to support and uplift our young learners and teachers, encouraging them to start the academic year off on the right foot.
