Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent, a forty-day journey leading to Easter. It's a time for us to reflect on our life's brokenness and the hopeful redemption God offers. North Scottsdale UMC's Ash Wednesday service is an invitation to prepare as our spiritual journey leads us to Easter.
Just like parents cheering a baby's first steps, we imagine God celebrating every move we make towards Him, despite our missteps or mistiming.
No matter how many times we stumble, God's arms remain open wide. We am forgiven. We am welcomed. We belong. So, with every stumble, we can hold onto the constant love of God. Join NSUMC this Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14th @ 7pm, as NSUMC starts the Lenten season with a service featuring the imposition of ashes at 7:00 p.m. in our sanctuary. 🕊️
