Sukkah hut.The children heard the story of how Moses led the people of God out of the Pharaoh's trap of slavery. They learned about why they had to eat unleavened bread (matzoh) and how it is different from the bread we have in communion. They learned how to recreate a hut that they could travel with. They made their Sukkah hut.
The Godly Play Story.Watching these videos is a great way to prepare for the lesson. This video is the Godly Play story of "The Great Family," and it shares many of the same story elements.
